Your father was a wonderful kind and generous man. Donating hay bales for Fitchburg's fall blacksmith festival, it was always a great pleasure to come to the farm to pick them up an then to return them. Later, when I retired, he gave me some bales to insulate pipes against the winter. We had wonderful conversations; he was informative and entertaining, and I will truly miss him.
