I knew Whit as we called him from Friendly's at Monument Square where I was part of the management team. He was a regular customer and we enjoyed his visits to us. I was sorry to hear of his passing. Very nice man.

Uncle Whitney was the brother of my mother Barbara Eastman. I got to know him better in his later years. My mother and I would often visit him at his home, then the nursing home. He was a kind man, and my personal hero for the way he cared for his wife who had Alzheimers' disease. He bathed, dressed her, and attended to her in such a gentle and loving way. we will miss you Uncle Whit.
