Stephen H. Smith Jr.

 Stephen H. Smith Jr. 89, life long resident of Fitchburg passed away on July 02, 2019 at Wachusett Manor in Gardner. He was the son of the late Stephen Smith and Mary E. (Scott) Smith. He was predeceased by his wife Dorothy Mae (Courtney) Smith in 1996 and his daughter Barbara Helie.  Stephen leaves behind four sons Michael J. Smith of Baldwinvile, Stephen C. Smith of Athol, Daniel T. Smith Ashby, Dennis Smith, and a daughter Kathleen M. Couture of Fitchburg, two brothers Robert Smith of Shrewsbury, William Smith along with thirteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Stephen will be missed by all who knew him. Stephen graduated from Fitchburg High school.  He was employed as plant manager at the former American Greeting Cards Co. A visitation period will be on Saturday July 13, 2019 at 4:00 to 5:00PM at the Bosk funeral home at 85 Blossom Street Fitchburg MA.
