Ronald C. Mathews Sr., 70, Died at home on Saturday October 27, after an illness. Ron was born in New Haven, Ct. February 6, 1942, the son of Edward and Helen (Platt) Mathews. He grew up in New Haven and was employed  for thirty years at lst Realty Management as maintanance manager..  He was a U.S Army veteran of the Vietnam Era and served in Korea.

Ron leaves his son and daughter-in-law Ronald C. Mathews Jr. and Lavon of Mt. Airy, N.C., his daughter and son-in-law Vickie Lynn Kyle and William of Chelsea. He also leaves his brothers William Mathews of East Haven, Ct. and James Mathews of New Haven, Ct. Five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Ron's wife of 21 years  Joyce (Marith) died June 24, 2011 and his brother Ned Mathews  and his twin brother Raymond  Mathews also predeceased him. Ron.s first wife Nancy also predeceased him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service  with Military Honors for Ron on Thursday November 8, at 2:00 P.M. in the Bosk Funeral Home .
