Ronald F. Caissey, 69

Ronald Francis Caissey, 69, passed away at home on Tuesday, after a lengthly
illness with his loving family at his bedside.
Ronald was born in Fitchburg, son of S. Francis and Florence Eleanor (Soucy) and
was a life long resident. He graduated from Fitchburg High School in 1964 and
served in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1965 to 1967. Ronald was a licensed master
electrician and was a member of local 256 Electrical Workers.
Ronald was an expert gunsmith and loved hunting, fishing, gardening and boating.
He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. Ronald was very active
with the Boy Scouts Troop "P" Local 1728. 
Ronald leaves his wife of 48 years, Janet Y (Logan)  Caissey, his sons Steven M.
Caissey  and his wife Heather and their children Kaleb M. and Zachary A. of Swanzey, N.H.

Son Jeffrey A. Caissey and his children Nicholas A., Sean A., Stephanie A., Braydon  Caissey. Daughter-in-law Gladys A. Caissey  of Fitchburg. His daughter Bernese K. (Caissey) Sowerbutts and her husband Richard and their children Ashley M. Martineau and Alex E. Sowerbutts  of Fitchburg. .  Also 2 great
grandchildren, Hirschel E. Moise and Ava R. Caissey.
At Ronald's request, no services are planned. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his
name may be made to the Boy Scouts of America Local #1728 of Lunenburg
