Robert Charles Sherwood, 69

Robert "Bob" Charles Sherwood, 69, of Clinton and formerly of
Fitchburg died at home on February 27.
Bob was born in Hartford, CT. August 7, 1945, the son of Edward
and Margaret (Griffin) Sherwood. He moved to the Fitchburg,
Leominster area a number of years ago. He was employed as an
executive chef in area restaurants.
Bob was a U.S.Army veteran serving in the Vietnam era.
Robert leaves his wife of thirty seven years Rita E. Draleau, his
step-daughters Faith Brown of New Haven, CT and Hope Violette
of Danvers. He also leaves his brothers Richard and Charles
Sherwood and his sister Claire Solima all in Connecticut. Three
grandchildren Brian, Nicholas and Mark Violette.
Memorial services with military honors will be held on Friday
March 13, at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of the Massachusetts
Veterans Cemetery 115 Glenallen St. Winchendon, MA. 01473.
Bosk Funeral Home 85 Blossom St. is assisting the family.
