Richard E Dicker 81, life long resident of Fitchburg, died Monday October 31, at
ealth Alliance Leominster Hospital.
Richard was born in Fitchburg, September 3, 1935, son of Samuel and Alice
(Wiitala) Dicker. He graduated from Fitchburg High School in 1953. He loved
hunting, fishing, gardening and his beloved cat. He was a great fan of the Red Sox &
Patriots and was especially proud of his Finnish heritage.
Richard was employed at several companies in the area, lastly at Rockport Shoe for
about 10 years.
Richard leaves his wife of 59 years, Jennie A. (Burke) Dicker, his son Steven M.
Dicker, of Leominster, his daughter Elaine E. Dicker of Fitchburg.  Also his brother
Robert Dicker, his grandchildren Erin Pilesky Brian Pilesky, Steven Dicker Jr. and
a great grandson  Maddox Drooker. Nieces and Nephews.
Richard was predeceased by his brothers Armas, Jouko ,Walter, Arthur and his
sister Mary Kiuru.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation period on Wednesday November 9,
from 2 to 4 P.M. in the Bosk Funeral Home 85 Blossom St. followed by a service at 4
P.M.
