Loving sister and Aunt  

Miriam E. Thomas, 92, of Fitchburg, died Friday August 8, at Sterling
Village after a brief illness.

Miriam was born in Fitchburg May 26, 1922, daughter of Simon and Anna
(Boyaj) Thomas and lived in Fitchburg most of her life. She graduated from
Fitchburg High School, class of 1939. She worked as an inspector for 19
years with the former Brown Bag Filling Machine Co. in Fitchburg and then
was employed for 25 years with the former American Can Co. of Fitchburg.

Miriam was a life long member of Christ Episcopal Church where she was a Sunday
School teacher for 25 years and a member of the Altar Guild.    

Miriam leaves two brothers, George Thomas and his wife Joan of Fitchburg, and
William "Bill" Thomas of Endicott, NY and several nieces and nephews.

Miriam is predeceased by a brother Raymond Thomas of Leominster and a
sister Louise Thomas of Fitchburg.


A visitation period for Miriam will be held on Wednesday August 13, from
10 to 11:00 A.M.  in the church parlor of Christ Church, 569 Main St.,
followed by a funeral service at 11:00 A.M. in the church. A burial will
follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made in her memory to the Christ Church Altar Guild. Bosk Funeral Home, 85 Blossom St.is assisting the family. boskfuneralhome.com
