Michael I. Parrish, 53, passed away Monday, April 26, 2021 at Health Alliance Leominster Hospital after an illness. Michael was born in Newport, VT on October 24, 1967.
Michael is survived by his mother, Marion E. Duguay & her husband, Roger Duguay, Sr. of Myrtle Beach, SC; his sisters, Cynthia M. Bacon of Myrtle Beach, SC and Jennifer L. Parrish of Worcester, MA; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Ruby J. & Lester G. Hood, who have welcomed “Mikey” home into their loving arms, to keep watch over family, friends, and all who were so good to him.
Michael had lifelong friendships with Ronald Costello, the late Geoffrey Heath, and the late Charles Kwiatkowski. He had previously worked at Life Skills of Gardner for several years.
Michael’s family would like to thank the longtime, loving staff at Venture Community Services and his guardian, Janine Conklin, for taking such good care of Michael for many years. We greatly appreciate and value your dedication in providing a caring home for him.
A visitation period will be held on Monday, May 3 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Bosk Funeral Home, 85 Blossom St., Fitchburg, MA. A graveside service and burial will follow in Silver Lake Cemetery, Athol, MA.
