Mary Mae (Tattersall-Cordio) King

It is with very heavy and saddened hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, Mary Mae (Tattersall-Cordio) King, on December 8, 2021. She passed suddenly, at her home of 30 years. She was born on March 7, 1930 to Ernest Tattersall and Evelyn Cox Tattersall in Hanover NH. She is survived by her children Elaine M Perez and her husband Angel Perez of Fitchburg, MA, Anthony H Cordio Jr. and his wife Irene Cordio of Fitchburg, MA, Bessie DeShiro and her hand her husband Wayne Deshiro of Leominster, MA and Brian J Cordio Sr. and his wife Diane Cordio of Fitchburg, MA. Also survived by her siblings, James Mitchell, Mike Mitchell Sr. and his wife Shirley Mitchell, Gloria Avery and her husband Bill Avery, Sylvia Plante and Walter Mitchell. She is predeceased by her first husband, Anthony H Cordio Sr. and second husband John R. King. Also, predeceased by her children Denise Cordio, Lawrence Cordio Ramona Henry and Antoinette Watson. Also predeceased by her stepchildren Ronald H Cordio Sr and Nancy Cordio Reises-Shadwell, brother Robert Tattersall and sister Emily Bisbee. Also predeceased by her grandson Kenneth M St. Louis of Athol, MA. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved to crochet, travel, cook, read, and do puzzles. She also loved country music. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and attending cookouts. She lived through nine decades; the Great Depression, World War II and everything that has happened since. She saw many changes throughout her life. She was loved by many and will be missed by many. She loved her children very much and all of her pets. 

Calling hours are 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday December, 15 at Bosk Funeral Home 85 blossom St Fitchburg, MA. Thursday morning funeral procession; please meet at Bosk Funeral Home for 10:00 a.m, to be at Forest Hill cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. burial
