Marjorie A. Ciccariello, 88, formerly of Watertown, MA, York, ME, and Punta Gorda, FL.

Marjorie A. Ciccariello, 88, passed away peacefully on Wednesday April 29, at Fitchburg Healthcare in Fitchburg.  Marjorie was born in Somerville on July 17, 1931, the daughter of James and Josephine (Galluzzo) Bendikian. She grew up in Somerville and graduated from Somerville High School.  She moved to Watertown when she married in 1951. Marjorie spent most of her working years as a secretary to the merchandise buyers at King’s Department Stores in Newton and as an office manager at Reliance Printing in Canton. Marjorie was an active and passionate Girl Scout leader to young girls, for many, many years. As her Girl Scouts grew older, Marjorie and her co-leaders accompanied her troop to visit various countries of the world as well as famous landmarks in the United States. Because of her exceptional  and ongoing commitment, leadership and service to the Girl Scouts, she was presented with the prestigious Thanks Badge 1, the highest honor awarded by the entire Girl Scout organization. After her Girl Scouts graduated from high school, Marjorie continued to travel with her four Girl Scout co-leader friends to almost every continent. She also enjoyed spending her winters in Florida and summers in Maine with her husband Pat.

Marjorie leaves her husband Pasquale A. Ciccariello, her son Daniel J. Ciccariello of Leominster, her daughter Jane E. Tibbetts and her fiance, Ronald Simmons of Leominster.  Marjorie also leaves her brother and sister-in-law, Henry J. Bendikian and Sheila of New Hampshire and Florida, and her beloved granddaughters Lisa B. Tibbetts and Judith A.Tibbetts of Leominster. Marjorie was predeceased by three sisters, Catherine Russo, Esther Severs and Maryann Perry and her half brother Anthony Perazzo. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.
