Margaret H. Aho
Mother, Grandmother

Margaret H. (O'Keefe) Aho, 85, died Thursday, January 3, at
River Terrace Nursing and Rehabilitating Center in Lancaster after a
lengthly illness.  Her loving family was at her bedside.


Margaret was born in Paterson, N.J. on December 29, 1927, the daughter of
Wilfred and Ellen (Johnson) O'Keefe. She came to Fitchburg at an early age
and lived here most of her life. She graduated from Fitchburg High School
in 1945. She spent her years caring for her family and working
throughout Fitchburg, most recently as a clerk at the former Parke-Snow
department store.


Margaret was a very loving and generous person.  She cherished her grandchildren and
enjoyed vacationing with family and friends.  She valued the opportunity to share what
she could with others, especially children's charities.  Margaret
was also involved as a long-time member of (St. Bernard) St. Camillus Parish.

Margaret is survived by her sons, Garry S. Aho of Shrewsbury, Rev.
Brian D. Aho and his wife Judith of Ashburnham; her daughter, Patricia E. Raymond of
Leominster; her brother and sister-in-law, William H.  and Caryl  O'Keefe of
Mansfield Center, CT. She also leaves her grandchildren, Rachel Raymond,
Jeffrey Aho, Lee Michael Raymond, Kirsten Aho, Amanda Aho, Jaclyn
Raymond and Gabrielle Aho, several nephews, and one niece.
Margaret's husband of 58 years, Waldemar Aho, died January 8, 2004. She
was also predeceased by her daughter, Karen Aho, and a grandson,
Gregory Aho.


Relatives and friends are invited to Bosk Funeral Home, 85 Blossom Street, on Saturday,
January 12.  A visitation period will be held from 9 to 10:30 A.M., and a service will begin at 10:30 A.M.
Burial will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery.
