Lillian Louise (Conrad) Tait, 98 years old, a life long resident of Fitchburg
died Thursday June 27 at the Highlands Long Term Care Center.
A member of Beth Eden Baptist Church for over 70 years.
She was born in Fitchburg,  April 4, 1915 the daughter of Edmund and
Elizabeth  (Burgess) Conrad. She was predeceased by her sisters Esther ,
Arlene and Thelma and her brother Edmund. She graduated from Fitchburg
High School in 1933 and also a graduate of Moody Bible Institute.

She loved music and sang in the church choir for over 50 years, many
times singing solo. She also loved to teach children about Jesus as a
Sunday school teacher.

Lillian was the wife of Deacon  Ernest Parker Tait for 57 years who died
January 5, 1994. She leaves two sons and their wives Ernest and Joan Tait
and David and Susan Tait. Six grandchildren, Philip and Patty Tait, Aaron,
Robert, Rebecca and Jessica Thrasher. Eight great grandchildren and two
great great grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Lillian will be held on Tuesday July 2, at 11:00 A.M. in
Beth Eden Baptist Church 350 Ashburnham St. A calling hour will be from
10 to 11:00 A.M. in the church. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery.
