Lillian R. Morel, 80

Lillian Rachel Morel ,80, died May 10, at Sterling Village. Lillian was born in Fitchburg March 11, 1941 to Toivo Mattias Anderson and Rachel Raffele Fasano. She graduated from Fitchburg High School, class of 1959. Married to David Edward LaPlant at St. Anthony church in Fitchburg September, 6, 1960

She worked at many places over the years. Some of them Include Barney Rosen clothing store in Fitchburg. H&R Block In various locations, ITT Suprenant in Clinton, Whalom Park in Lunenburg.

She enjoyed cooking, going to flea markets and church dinners. She also enjoyed antiquing or just going for a drive to her favorite ice cream place In the country.

She was a member of the women’s club at Immaculate Conception church in Lancaster

She was predeceased by her parents and her 2nd husband George Francis Morel who died in 2008

Her brother John W. Anderson died in 2014

Survived by her son David Roy LaPlant and wife Linda of Happy Valley, OR., sister Ruth Ann of Leominster, and her 1st husband David Edward LaPlant of La Mirada, CA. Several Nieces and Nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday May 13 at 1:00 P.M. at Forest Hill Cemetery. Contributions to the Alzheimer’ Association. .
