Fitchburg - Joshua L. Racine, 40, passed away unexpectedly on September 13, 2019. He was born in Fitchburg, the first son of the late Jeffrey S. Racine and Kathleen M. (Richards) Racine.
Joshua leaves behind his five sons Anthony M. Racine, Thomas S. Racine, Zachary S. Racine, Benjamin L. Racine, and Kayden Racine and his beloved daughter Ivy Rose Racine, a stepson Francis O. Arbolay, brothers Matthew S. Racine and his girlfriend Ana Dworsack and Travis J. Racine and fiance Reileigh William, his sister Heather Langille and her husband Jeffrey Langille, one grandson Kingsley Pervier Racine, a nephew Justin-Tyler, and nieces Tamara, Jocelyn, Alana, and Arya.
Joshua lived most of his life in Fitchburg. He earned an Associate's degree in Culinary Arts from Atlantic Union College. Josh frequently worked seasons at Bob's Turkey Farm.
Joshua enjoyed cooking, cars, reading, working out, tattoos, watching the Walking Dead, and spending time with family. He had a love for animals and enjoyed nature. Josh will forever be remembered as being fiercely loyal to his family and friends. One of his favorite things to do was to spend time with his nephew and nieces, especially feeding the ducks with them. Joshua will be remembered in the hearts that knew him because he always held those hearts with him. A private service will be held by invitation only.
