Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather

Jacques J. "Jack" Vachon, 68 of Fitchburg, died peacefully at home  after a
lengthly illness with his loving family at his bedside.

Jack was born in Quebec, Canada April 10, 1946, son of Gerard and
Carmen (Hebert) Vachon. He came to the Fitchburg Leominster area at an
early age. He graduated from Leominster Trade School in 1968. Jack was
employed as a welder-pipe fitter for 35 years and was a member of Local #4
Welders and Pipe Fitters Union. Jack was a putterer and enjoyed working
around the house and his yard. He was a former member of the National
Guard.

Jack leaves his wife of 14 years, Joanna (Gosselin) Rameau, his sons
Duane Vachon of Westminster and Jeffrey Vachon and his wife Lynn of
Fitchburg. His brothers and sisters-in-law Donald Vachon and Barbara of
Florida and Fitzwilliam, N.H. and David Vachon and Michelle of Leominster.
Jack also leaves his sister and brother-in-law Diane Giannino and Frank of
Leominster. Also his step-son James Rameau of Bridgewater, Vt. and Step-
daughter Tracy Rameau of Fitchburg. Also grandchildren Thomas,Kaitlyn,
Julia and Jade Vachon and a step-grandaughter Amber Kucher. Jack was
predeceased by his brother Steven Vachon who was twin brother of David
Vachon.

Relatives and friends of Jack are invited to a visitation period on Thursday
from 10 to 11 A.M. in the Bosk Funeral Home 85 Blossom St. followed by a
service at 11:00 A.M.  Burial will take place at a later date.
