Helen Szwabowski

Helen S. Szwabowski, 92, passed peacefully at the Keystone Nursing center in Leominster, MA on November 19, 2019. She was born June 11, 1927,as the daughter of the late Benjamin and Stella (Olszewski) Kuziuk.

Helen was predeceased by the love of her life, her husband Dr. Leon J. Szwabowski. Helen was her husband’s receptionist who took care of the front desk of his chiropractic office for many years.

Helen leaves behind a daughter, Carolyn Szwabowski of Clinton, MA and her beloved grandchildren Gregory and Matthew Szwabowski, Lindsey Breau, and Chelsea Curll. She also leaves behind a son Ted Szwabowski of Jensen Beach, FL and his children Alec and Marisha Szwabowski, along with five great grandchildren. Also, in her passing she leaves her dearly loved sister Ann Francavage of Pottsville, PA.

Helen will forever be remembered for her passion for cooking and great love of Polish folk art. She was extremely proud of her Polish heritage and served at the president of the Polish Club.

A graveside service will be held December 2, 2019 at 11amat the St. Bernard Cemetery 96 Goodrich Street, Fitchburg, MA 01420. The Bosk Funeral Home will be assisting the family.
