Gertrude (Lamminen) Lepp

Gertrude Miriam "Gert" (Lamminen) Lepp, 88, died Thursday, May 9, at the
Golden Living  Rehablitation Center.
Gert leaves her husband of sixty four years Allan R. Lepp, two sons, Eric
Lepp and his wife Karen   and Matthew Lepp.  Two daughters, Sandra
Serfass and her husband Ted  and Kristen Kieda . Six grandchildren.
Gert was a lifelong resident of Fitchburg born on February 24, 1925, the
daughter of the late Anton and Emmi (Nordland) Lamminen. She graduated
from Fitchburg High School  in 1942 and was a member of the reunion
committee for many years. She was a charter member of the Finnish
American Club of Saima. She was a member of the Burbank Hospital Guild
and was a Hospital volunteer for thirty five years. She had also worked at
the World War ll Ration Board. Gert had also workes as a secretary for the
late Attorney Paul San Clemente. She enjoyed travel, skiing, oil painting
and crossword puzzles.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family on Thursday
evening from 5 to 8 P.M. in the Bosk Funeral Home 85 Blossom St. A
Funeral service for Gert will be held on Friday Morning at 11:00 A.M. in the
Funeral Home, Rev. Rodney Dobbs will officiate. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the
