Gertrude A. Flagg, 86
Gertrude A. (Martin) Flagg , 86, passed away suddenly on Wednesday April 20 at Umass Memorial Hospital in Worcester. She had been a resident of Baldwinville Nursing and Rehabilitation Home for the past 4 years.
Gertrude was born in Manchester, N.H., on December 19, 1935, daughter of Raymond and Alice Martin. She was a devoted homemaker who loved bowling, crocheting, playing bingo, and listening to live bands at the nursing home activities programs.
Gertrude leaves her sons Randy Kennedy, John Kennedy and David Flagg as well as her daughters Carol E. Cortland, Elizabeth Kennedy and Linda Markeseines. She also leaves her brothers, Sooky Martin, Arthur Martin, and Sonny Martin. And numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Gertrude was predeceased by her second husband Charles Flagg in 1991, her first husband Walter Kennedy in 2021. Also, her sons, Charles and Jack Flagg; her daughters, Susan Chirco, Sandy Paul and Jacqueline Bingham, as well as  her sisters Eileen Wasserstrom, Mary Gordon and Barbara Martin.
Visitation and funeral services for Gertrude and her daughter Sandy Paul who passed in April of 2020, will be held on Friday, April 29, from 5 to 7 PM at Bosk Funeral Home at 85 Blossom St. Fitchburg. Burial will be private.
