Gerald A. Davis, 86, Life long resident of Ashby, died Thursday August 21,

at Health Alliance Leominster Hospital.

Gerald leaves his wife of 52 years Henriette G. (Beaudoin). They were

married June 21, 1962. Also His son William A. Davis and his daughter

Lynn A. Davis and his brother Alathan D. Davis all of Ashby. 

Gerald was born in Ashby January 24, 1928, son of Wilbur F. and Doris

(Brewer) Davis.  He was a volunteer firefighter from 1953 to 1965. He was

employed by the Ashby Highway department prior to 1962.  He was 

employed  at RMP Motor Parts Rebuilders from 1962 to 1990.  He continued

operation of the Davis farm into the late 1990's. He was a U.S. Army veteran

serving from 1955 to 1957.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend graveside services with military

honors on Friday August 29, at 11:00 A.M.  at Glenwood Cemetery in
