Life long Fitchburg resident

Gary R. Cheries, 60, died Tuesday December 10 at St. Vincent Hospital in
Worcester after an illness.    

Gary was born in Fitchburg August 31, 1953, the son of Daniel M. and Irene
(Simone) Cheries and was a lifelong resident. He attended local schools
and graduated from Fitchburg High school.

Gary leaves his wife of 7 years, Herminia (Gonzalez) Cheries, his step-
mother Geraldine Cheries, his step-sons Pedro Genao Gonzalez and
Christian Genao Gonzalez.  His step-daughters Gisselle "Gigi" A. Torres
and Ana D. Torres. He also leaves his  step-brothers Wayne Tisdale and
Brian Tisdale; his step-sisters Linda Williams and Brenda Kennard, his
aunt Evelin Cheries,  his cousin Susan Cheries. Also  best friends David
Sencabaugh, Felicia  Price, Willie Herrera. Nine  step-grandchildren.

Calling hours for Gary will be  held on Saturday December 14 from 10 A.M.
to 12 P.M. in the Bosk Funeral Home 85 Blossom St. followed by a service
at 12:00 P.M. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery.
