Florence (Cintron) Ramos, 72, lately of Worcester, formerly of Fitchburg,
died Friday at UMass Medical Center after an illness.
Florence was born in Salinas, Puerto Rico, daughter of the late Enrique and
Luz (Acosta) Cintron. She moved to New York at an early age and came to
Fitchburg in 1964. She moved to Worcester two years ago.
Florence leaves her daughter Norma Ramos, her brothers Enrique and
Walter Cintron and her sisters Neidy Ramos and Nancy Correa. Ten
grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Florence was predeceased by her husband Zoilo in 2011. She was also
predeceased by her sons Edwin, Zoilo Jr. and Angel Ramos. Also her
daughter Alma R. Ramos and her sister Virgie Cintron.
Calling hours for Florence will be held on Thursday October 29, from 4 to 7
P.M. in the Bosk Funeral Home 85 Blossom St. A Mass of Christian burial
will be held on Friday at 10:00 A.M. in St. Francis of Assisi Church 63
Shridan St. Burial will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery.
