Florence R. Laughton, 88 of 151 Wilker Road died Saturday September 26
at home in a house fire.
She leaves her brother Roger Lancey of Baldwinville, her sisters Eleanor
Ahlers and  Claudette Esposito. A son Joel B. Laughton of Lake Wales, FL.
Two daughters Lisa E. Dupill of Fitzwilliam, NH, and Fern Robichaud of
Lunenburg; her grandaughter and caretaker Casilda Rhodes of
Westminster, five grandsons, two grandaughters and several great and
great great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Herbert H. Laughton in
2008.

Mrs. Laughton was born in Townsend the oldest child of Edward A. Lancey
and Florence M. Dauphinais.  She attended Townsend schools. She worked
for many years in the plastics industry, including  the former Foster Grant
Corp. and Tucker Housewares both in Leominster.

A Memorial celebration of her life will be held on Sunday October 12 from
12 noon to 3 P.M. at the Townsend V.F.W. Post 6538, 491 Main St. West
Townsend 01474. After cremation, her remains will be interred at the
Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Winchendon with her husband at a later
date. Bosk Funeral Home 85 Blossom St. Fitchburg is assisting the family.
