Ernestina M. Ortiz, 75, of Fitchburg, died Saturday August 2, at Valley
Stream Healthcare Center after an illness.
She was born in Humacao, Puerto Rico, Novemver 1, 1938, daughter of  the
late Marcelino Ortiz and Conception Ramirez. Ernestina was a homemaker
who's life revolved around her family.

Besides her mother, Conception Ramirez of Puerto Rico, she leaves her
son Roberto Ortiz in Florida, her daughters Rosa Rodriguez of Fitchburg,
Wanda Ortiz and Tamara Ortiz `both of Florida. Four brothers and eight
sisters in Puerto Rico. Ten grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

A funeral service for Ernestina will be held on Wednesday August 6, at
11:00 A.M. in the Bosk Funeral Home 85 Blossom St. Burial wil follow in
Forest Hill Cemetery. Calling hours in the funeral home are Tuesday from 5
