Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother

Dorothy M. [Dodie] (Mashiter) Little, 82, died  at home Friday, May 10. She
was born in Hartford, CT. August 29, 1930, daughter of Richard and Evelyn
(Hancock) Mashiter. She lived in Fitchburg all her life.

Dodie attended local schools. She was a member of the former Good
Sheperd  Episcopal Church  and currently a member of Christ Episcopal.
Long time avid bowler, huge fan of the Boston Red Sox and a member of
the Waites Corner girls.

Was a foster mother for many children over 18 years.  Then worked as a
certified nursing  assistant in nursing homes and later in private home
health care field.

Survived by daughters and  sons-in-law Valerie J. Thibault and Raymond,
Robin J. Petrillo and John. Her sons and daughters-in-law Scott R. Little
and Sue, Craig R. Little and Milissa and Keith A. Little and Nancy.
Grandchildren, Ray and wife Dianne, Marisa and husband Will, Jeffrey,
Arthur and wife Corey, Ashley and husband Ken, Andrew and wife Kristin,
Candice, Allison, Grace and Nick. Great grandchildren, Alexandra, William,
Matthew, Alina, Liam and Jared. Dodie also leaves her sister Elizabeth
[Betty] Cordio and husband Anthony and nephew Mark, wife Bonni. 2 great
nephews, a few cousins also wonderful neighbors.

Relatives and friends are invited to a funeral service for Dodie on Saturday
June 15, at 11:00 A.M. in Christ Episcopal Church 569 Main St. Burial will
follow in Forest Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Dodie's
name may be made to Christ Church Memorial Fund, 569 Main St.
