Donald Carl Freeburg, 92, died unexpectedly at home on Wednesday May 11. Donald was born In Ridgway, PA. July 23, 1929, son of Bernard and Ruth (Anderson) Freeburg. Donald served is country honorably with the U.S. Army from 1951 to 1953. He had been a resident of Ashby since 1972.  He was a retired professor from Fitchburg State University. He was a member of Emanuel Lutheran church and was organist for many years.,  

Donald leaves his daughter Karen E Freeburg, three grandchildren, Andrew J., Krista L., and Robert J. Greeley.

Donald was predeceased by his wife Edith E. (Shippling) Freeburg, his sons Daryl L. and Donald N. Freeburg, also his brother and sister Norman Freeburg and Doris Mann.
