Donald L. Courtney

Fitchburg - Donald L. Courtney, 81 passed away unexpectedly at his home on June 16, 2019. Donald was born in Fitchburg to the late John and Viola Mae (Glidden) Courtney. He was predeceased by his wife Gertrude (Porter) Courtney. Donald leaves behind a sister Mary Reeses of Lakeland FL, sister-in-law Joan Courtney, nieces Cynthia Cofer of Frostproof, FL, Kathleen Couture Fitchburg, Jerri Maillet of Fitchburg, and many great nieces and nephews.  Donald proudly served his country in the United States Army. He will forever be remembered as a simple and easy going man. There will be a grave side service with full military honors on Saturday June 06, 2019 at 11 am. at Saint Johns cemetery West Street in  Gardner MA. The Bosk funeral home will be assisting the family.
