Cristobal "Pipo" Algarin, 63, passed away  Wednesday at Health Alliance
Leominster Hospital after an illness with his loving family at his bedside.
Pipo was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico, the son of Cristobal and the late
Emma Rosa (Marquez) Algarin. He graduated high school  and attended
college in Puerto Rico and worked as a physical therapist. When he moved
to Fitchburg, he was employed as a machine operator at Mohawk Wire &
Cable Co.
Besides his father, Pipo leaves his wife  of 46 years Gloria (Maldonado)
Algarin, his daughters, Marylee Briand, Sandra Welch and Gloria Algarin.
His brother Nelson Algarin and his sisters Carmen Castro and Emma Iris
Algarin. Also six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours and services from
3 to 6 P.M. Saturday October 17, in the Bosk Funeral Home 85 Blossom St.
Burial will be private.
