Connie Estelle Dowdle, 55, died at UMASS Memorial Hospital in Worcester on her birthday after a lengthly  illness.
Connie was born in Worcester daughter of Homer and Catherinebel (Rushton) Dowdle. She grew up in Worcester and has lived in the Fitchburg and Leominster area for several years. She was a self employed caterer until her retirement several years ago due to illness.
Connie leaves her daughter Lashawna M. Brooks of Fitchburg, her brother Stanley Rushton and her sisters Harriet Johnson and Lois Dowdle. Connie also leaves her grandchildren Ialyah DeJesus, Aniysha Walker, Bryan Walker and Bryelle Walker.
Relatives and friends are invited to visitation and services on Thursday February 28, from 5 to 8 P.M. in the Bosk Funeral Home 85 Blossom St. Fitchburg
