Charles Richard Draleau, 70, of Fitchburg died Sunday,September 1, at the
Highlands Long Term Care Center after an illness.
Charles was born in Lancaster, Ma. February 25, 1943, the son of Lawrence
and Laura (Demazure) Draleau.  He worked for Nypro in Clinton for 25
years. Charles served in the U.S.Navy for 3 years aboard  the USS Shadwell
LSD-15 . He then served 17 years in the Army National Guard.
Charles leaves his wife Bonnie Eve (Parisen) Babeau Draleau, his
daughters, Charlene Pepper and Robin Epperson, his son Justin Babeau.
He also leaves brothers and sisters, Geraldine Savino, Gerald Draleau,
Rose Cusson, Donald Draleau, Theresa Crocker, Joseph Draleau and Rita
Sherwood.  Five grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.  Numerous
Nieces and nephews. His beloved dog Myers and cat Tigger. He was
predeceased by six brothers and two sisters.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday September 6 at 10:00
A.M. at Our Lady of the Lake Church 1400 Main St. Leominster. Calling
hours in the Bosk funeral Home 85 Blossom St.  Fitchburg are Thursday
from 7 to 9 P.M.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the
American Cancer Society.
