Carmen A. Cordero, 73, died  Saturday January 10, at River Terrace
Rehabbilitation and Nursing Center in Lancaster after an illness with her
family at her bedside.
Carmen was born in Guyama, Puerto Rico, daughter of Francisco Cordero
and Juana Rodriguez and came to Fitchburg eight years ago.
Carmen leaves her husband Marcello Colon, six sons, Josue, Victor,
Marcelo, Orlando, Jose M. and Angel J. Three daughters Iris, Rosaura and
Luz Colon. Her brother Abel Andino and six sisters, Olga, Chiqui, Sonia,
Gloria, Esther, and Rosaura Andino. Forty grandchildren and twenty great
grandchildren.
Calling hours and services for Carmen are Thursday evening from 5 to 8
P.M. in the Bosk Funeral Home 85 Blossom St. Relatives and friends will
gather on Friday morning at 10:00 A.M. and will proceed to Forest Hill
Cemetery for burial.
