Carl R. Vuori, 79

Dearly loved Father, Grandfather, Great-grandfather

Carl R. Vuori, 79, of Lunenburg, died early Friday morning  March 21 at the
Highlands Long Term Care Center after a lengthy illness.

Carl was born in Winchendon, April 24, 1934, the son of Kalle and Ida
(Pach) Vuori. He grew up in Fitchburg and graduated from Fitchburg High
School. He was employed as a truck driver and has lived in Lunenburg for
47 years.      

Carl is predeceased by his wife  of 41 years  Elaine (St.Ivanyi) Vuori  who died February 25, 2006.
Carl leaves six children, Judith Olinder of Lunenburg, Denise
Olinder Hampson of Ashby, Eric Olinder of California, Loraine Sambito and her husband Andy ofLeominster, Melissa Dooley and her husband Steve of Florida and Scott Vuori and his wife Robin of Longmeadow. He also leaves 11 grandchildren and 11 Great- grandchildren and several niecesand nephews.  He is predeceased by his brother Eric Blomi and his sisters Frances Blomi and Janet Roberts.

Carl was an extremely generous, hardworking and caring person who always put his family first.  He was the best father in the whole world, who loved country music, his dogs and Dunkin Donuts coffee.

No funeral services are scheduled. Contributions in Carl's memory may be
made to the Alzheimer's Association 480 Pleasant St. Watertown, Ma.
