Andreas Gavriel Michael, 87, died suddenly at Health Alliance Leominster
Hospital after being stricken ill at home.
Andreas was born in Larnaca, Cyprus May 26, 1926, the son of Michael and
Anthousa Gavrial. He came to the Unites State at age 17 and lived in New
York before coming to Fitchburg.

His working years were all in the food service industry including the Blue
Angel restaurant in Fitchburg, a Pizza Restaurant in Milford, N.H. and  for
many years as a cook at the Cottage Lunch in Fitchburg.  

Andreas was a U.S.Army veteran of the Korea era. He was a member of the
Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.

Andreas leaves his wife of 62 years Stella (Angelos)  Michael, his daughter
and son-in-law Suzanne and Costa Constantinou of Tampa, FL. He also
leaves 2 grandchildren Stella Millan and Andrea Constantinou and one
great grandchild Constantine Millan.  His brother Efthemi Michael in
Cyprus.  Several nieces and nephews.

His brother Gabriel and his sister Afxende predeceased him.
Funeral services for Andreas will be held on Friday August 16, at 11:00
A.M. in Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church 1319 Main St. Burial will follow
in Forest Hill Cemetery, Calling hours in the Bosk Funeral Home 85
