Alice (Flannagan) Dicker Johnson, 86, passed away Tuesday November 9, after an illness. Alice was born in Clinton November 27, 1934 daughter of Lawrence and Doris (Cadorette) Flannagan. She grew up In Clinton and graduated from Clinton High school in 1951 and participated in basketball, softball and swimming. I 2008
Alice was predeceased by her husband Norman C. Johnson of Leominster in 2008 and her daughter Shelly Dicker Chelikhov in 2011 and Paul Flanagan in 2011.
She is survived by her son Robert Dicker of Leominster, several nieces and nephews and many friends
She retired from Verizon In 1997. Other work history included 6 years at Sears as Audit Reporter, 9 years at Great American Chemical as Personnel and Payroll Manager and 8 years at Asher Company as Payroll Manager.
Alice enjoyed collecting spoons, reading, knitting, computer and casino trips.
Volunteer services consisted as Chairman of the Cancer Drive of Fitchburg, PTA President of Fitchburg State College (Now University) training schools, active for 15 years in the Boy/Girl Scout movements, served on the Ecumenical Council and taught CCD at St. Bernard’s
Relatives and friends are invited to visitation at 11AM followed by a service at 12PM. In the Bosk Funeral Home 85 Blossom St. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers friends are kindly asked to visit and send greetings to those who are ill and especially confined.
