Alberta Rose "Bert" Surette, 67, died Wednesday December 11, at St.
Vincent Hospital in Worcester after an illness.  

Bert was born in Fitchburg October 27, 1946, daughter of Russell and Rose
"Bergevin" Surette and was a lifelong resident. She attended local schools
and many years ago was employed  in the plastics industry.  She was a
member of the Lighthouse Church of God.  

Bert was a loving, caring mother and grandmother. She loved the outdoors
and being able to get around on her scooter. She was a very active rider of
MART. She had previously been a volunteer at the former homeless
shelters in the area.

Bert leaves her daughters Heidi Narcisse and husband Jean B. of Gardner
and Sondra Surette of Worcester. Her brother Russell Surette and
grandchildren Saysha Surette-Narcisse, Sondrea Surette-Narcisse, Jeane
Narcisse, Santo Bernabel and Jeaneya Bernabel. A nephew Shaun Surette.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday December 18, at 10:00 A.M. in
the Bosk Funeral Home 85 Blossom St. followed by burial in Forest Hill
Cemetery. Calling hours will be  Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 P.M.
Donations in her memory may be made and left at the funeral home.
