Walter H. "Skip" Fleming born on November 11, 1942 was granted his angel wings on December 18, 2018. His final days were spent surrounded by family, a friends that were touched by his unconditional love throughout his life.
Skip enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking, and yard sales; however, being with family, and friends were his true passion, and delight. He was a loving son, and brother, a devoted, adoring father, and Buba, and a true friend to all who had the good fortune to know him. One would be hard-pressed to find anyone who would pass an unkind word about him; a remarkable lifetime achievement few will attain.
Loved ones that cleared the path for Skip are his father, Walter H. Fleming, his mother, Leona E. Dinneen Fleming, and his sister, Margaret H. "Peggy" Fleming Maguire.
Loved ones that will miss Skip until they meet again are his beloved children: daughters, Michelle Fleming, Charlene Breau, and son, Dan Merriam. His cherished grandchildren: Andrew Fleming, Jonathan Lombardo, Xavier, and Elijah Fleming, Greg, and Jack Kolligian, Branden Fleming, and great grandson, Dominic Fleming. His devoted siblings: Annette "Lola" Primeau, Tricia Boucher-Wallace, Kathleen A Helie, Dorothy N. Brandt, Phyllis "Phe" M. Caron, Bernard F. “Bud” Fleming, Mark S. Fleming, his God-sent friend, and neighbor, Chris Albert, as well as many nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services are private. Skip leaves us a legacy rich in memories of laughter, kindness, and unconditional love. He would hope that you will do unexpected, and unsolicited acts of kindness for others in his name.
