Jane L. (Congram ) Gionet, 78 Died Tuesday April 3, at River Terrace in Lancaster. Jane was born in Fitchburg October 18, 1939, to Ernest and Grace (Flint) Congram. She grew up in Fitchburg and graduated from Fitchburg High school in 1957, While a student there, she volunteered at Burbank Hospital. After graduating from high school, she took a part time course at the former Stevens Business College in Fitchburg.
After finishing her education, she was a full time employee at the former Safety Fund National Bank in Fitchburg and the Former Mechanics National bank in Leominster. Jane was also a volunteer in the office of St. Camillus Church in Fitchburg before moving to Leominster in 1971. She was a Member of Our Lady of the Lake Church in Leominster, and along with her husband, was a member of the adult choir for 15 years. Jane enjoyed working in her flower and vegetable gardens.
Jane leaves behind her husband of 53 years Joseph E. Gionet, her son Mark and his wife Julia Gionet and grandchildren Caleb and Elliott Gionet. Jane was loved and respected by her family and many friends, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation period on Saturday April 7, from 8 A.M to 9:30 A.M. at the Bosk Funeral Home 85 Blossom St. Fitchburg followed by a Mass at 10:00 A.M. in Our Lady of the Lake Church 1400 Main St. Leominster. Burial will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery, Fitchburg. Memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of the Lake Church for parish programs and improvements
