Helena (Daniels) Shea, 76, former long time resident of Fitchburg, recently of Leominster died peacefully at home Saturday December 16, after an illness with her loving family at her bedside. Helena was born in Boston May 17, 1941, daughter of John F. and Loretta C. (Wade) Daniels. She graduated from Hope High School in Providence, Rhode Island, and worked many years in the Boston area.
Helena leaves her husband Paul L. Shea, her sons Greg N. Shea and wife Lori of Fitchburg Paul L. Shea Jr. of Leominster and William T.N. Shea and wife Melissa T. of Woburn. Her daughter Mary Beth Spinney and husband Trenton L. of Athol. Also her brother Jay Daniels of Boca Raton, FL. and sisters Lauretta  Corsair and husband Steve of St. Augustine, FL. Pam Kelly of Coventry, R.I. Sandy Daniels of Little Compton. R.I. and Donna M. Daniels-Abjornson and husband Stan of Laconia, N.H. Twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her step-brother John F. Daniels, Jr., previously of Westwood, MA.
Helena's family was her life and she loved spending quality time with her children and grandchildren. She loved to read the Bible, take short car trips, and go shopping. She also liked to do crossword puzzles.
