Friedrich Georg Mueller, 85, died peacefully on Sunday, November 25. He passed at home of natural causes and was surrounded by family. Fred was born in Koblenz, Germany on November 19, 1933. He was the son of Theodore and Berta (Neis) Mueller and attended Freiberg University where he worked through a rigorous apprenticeship and then journeyman program to become a master cabinet maker.
Fred came to the United States in 1963 and pursued his furniture career attaining the position of Vice President of Hitchcock Chair Company in Riverton, CT. and later Vice President and part owner of Hale Furniture Company in Arlington, VT.
Friedrich leaves his wife of Fifty years, Marjorie (Simon) Mueller. They were married on December 23, 1967. He also leaves his son and daughter-in-law Jeffrey and Jennifer Mueller of Alexandria, VA, and their children Cole, Pearl and Felix. His brother and sister-in-law Robert and Terry Mueller of Panama and his sister and brother-in-law Hannelore and James Nuttall of the Villages, FL. He was predeceased by his brother Gerhard Mueller.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation period on Friday from 12:30 to 2:30 P.M. followed by a mass of Christian Burial at 3:00 P.M. at Our Lady of the Lake Church 1400 Main St. Leominster. Burial will be private.
