Enrique Rivera 92

Enrique Rivera, 92, died peacefully at home on Wednesday after an illness with his
family at his bedside. Born in Ciales, P.R. son of Juan Rivera and Maria Vazquez. 

He had been a farmer and lumberjack in his earlier years in Puerto Rico. He also
worked in food service in Puerto Rico and was part of a restaurant staff that served
Luis Munoz Marin who was then governor of Puerto Rico.

His hobbies included  making model airplanes out of scrap metals. He also loved
ceramics and art. He was a nature lover. He was an excellent swimmer and had
dived into a Taino Indian underwater cave and found an old artifact bow and arrow
used by the Indians.

Enrique is survived by his daughters, Elsie,Raquel, Rebecca, Maria and son Elias.
Seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
No funeral services are planned at this time. Bosk Funeral Home 85 Blossom St.
