Dorothy A Pillsbury, 96

Dorothy A. (Lord) Pillsbury, of Ashby, died Friday September 15, at home surrounded by her loving family. Dorothy was born in Newport, N.H.August 31, 1921, daughter of Norman and Harriet (Farewell) Lord  and moved to Ashby in 1940.
Dorothy leaves her sons,William A. Pillsbury of New Ipswich, N.H. and David W. Pillsbury and his wife Deborah of Ashby. Her daughters and sons-in-law Beverly A. Tracy and Charles of Townsend and Roberta L. LaValley and John of Groton. Nine grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Dorothy,s family was her life. She was a member of the former Ashby Grange.
Dorothy was predeceased by her husband of 63 years Robert W. Pillsbury in 2003. Her brother William Lord and her sister Eva Sherman and her step-father Walter Pike also died before her.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday September 20 at 1:00 P.M. in West Cemetery Ashby.
