Carol A. Jacob, 80

Carol A. (Bourque) Jacob, 80, life long resident of Fitchburg, died Tuesday May 15, at the Highlands after an extended illness with her family at her bedside.. She was born July 26, 1937, the daughter of Raymond J. and Euphemia (Nethercut) Bourque. She graduated from Fitchburg High School. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She devoted much of her time and efforts in support of the Kingsmen Drum and Bugle Corps and the weekly Bingo game which she and her husband ran for many years.
Carol leaves her son Michael R. Jacob, her grandchildren Joshua, Sarah and Samantha Jacob and her great grandchildren Stacia and Laila Jacob all of Leominster. Also her former daughter-in-law Denise Jacob of Leominster who was her primary care giver. Carol's husband Raymond died in 1982. Her daughter Pamela Sonia died in 2009
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation period on Monday May 21 from 11 A.M. to 1:00 P.M followed by a service at 1:00 P.M. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
