Welcome to the memorial page for

Andrew Thomas Neforas

July 13, 1986 ~ January 6, 2018 (age 31) 31 Years Old

Andrew Thomas Neforas, 31 years old, of Fitchburg, Massachusetts, went to join the loved ones who passed before him, and meet his Lord and Savior on January 6, 2018. Andrew was born to loving parents, Thomas Neforas, and Rhonda (Cameron) Neforas, on July 13, 1986, in Methuen, MA. He will forever “tower” his only sister Courtney and his brother Devin along with his foster brothers Logan,John and Bobby.  He will be forever missed by the love of his life, Lita Nanthavong and their “fur babies” Weezy and Carter.

Andrew was a sensitive, compassionate child, who always thought of others before self. These traits stayed with him to adulthood. His first love was hockey (street and ice), and he would continue to play throughout his school years and beyond. He was an avid snowboarder and skateboarder plus his childhood home became the base camp for paintball tournaments, dirt-bike riding and tricks on the trampoline with his many friends.

Andrew attended both Fitchburg and Saint Bernard’s High School, where he played Varsity Ice Hockey for 4 years. After high school, he went on to St. Thomas More Prep School, where he was captain and a very key player until he broke his arm in a tournament game.  This hindered him from playing at Plymouth State University the following year. He was able to concentrate on his studies and graduated in 2010 with a Business Finance degree.

He will be greatly missed by all of his family still with us: Maternal grandfather, Samuel “Papa” Cameron and Paternal grandfather, Gene “Bumpy” St. Martin and many wonderful aunts, uncles and cousins. The ones welcoming him with open arms in heaven are; his maternal great grandmother, Amelia “2 Nana” Landay, and grandmother, Carol “Nanny” Cameron, paternal great grandmother Sadie “Gramma” Dunshee and grandmother Bette “Ma” St. Martin and best friend, Jordan Goguen.

Please join us on Saturday January 13th at 10am for a service, followed by a visitation at Crossroads Community Church, 839 Ashby State Road, Fitchburg, MA 01420. from 11 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. A reception to follow at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family will appreciate donations that will be distributed to Celebrate Recovery in Andrew’s name.
