William W. Avery

William Winslow Avery, 74, died at Framingham Union Hospital on Thursday
December 15, after a lengthly illness. He was born in Winchendon, son of Roland A
and Marion A. (Sentabar)  Avery. He had been employed at the former Anwelt Shoe
Co. in Fitchburg and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

William leaves his daughter Bonnie A. Avery of E. Hartford, CT. His sisters 
Elranor J. Florio and her husband Armand of Winchendon and Helen L. Cochran
of Leominster. Four grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. His brothers
Roland Jr. and Edward and his sister Annette M. Benda predeceased him.

Funeral services  with Military Honors for William will be held on Friday December
30  at 11:00 A.M. at the Massachusetts Veterans Cemetery 111 Glenallen St.
Winchendon.  Bosk Funeral Home 85 Blossom St. Fitchburg is assisting the family.
