Mildred (Marshalek) Rossi, 85, died unexpectedly on December 24 at UMASSMedical Center in Worcester.
Mildred was born in Excelsior, PA. July 18, 1931, daughter of Stephen and Mary(Behoniak) Marshalek. She grew up in Pennsylvania and had lived in Philadelphia, Detroit. MI. and Waynesboro VA before moving to Leominster in 1970. Mildred was a nurse at Philadelphia General Hospital until she gave up her career to devote her time to her husband and children. She was a member of Our Lady of theLake Church, where she served as a Eucharistic minister.

Mildred was a member of the Red Hat Society, an avid gardener, and often volunteered at her son’s school when they were young.
Mildred leaves her husband of sixty five years, Anthony J. Rossi, her sons anddaughters-in-law James A. Rossi and Colleen A., of Fitchburg, twin sons Joseph A.Rossi and Heather of Bellingham and John A. Rossi of Whitman. One granddaughter Nikkolina A. Rossi. Three brothers and three sisters predeceased her.
Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to your favorite charity.  .
