Keith M. Hier, 31, of Fitchburg died unexpectedly on Saturday July 9. Keith was born in
Worcester, son of Gary R. Hier and Lisa M. Testa and was a lifelong resident of
Fitchburg. He graduated from automotive technology at Montachusett Regional Technical
High School in 2004. He had a passion for working on classic cars. While serving in the
US Army, Keith was assigned to ranger battalion at Fort Benning, GA where he also graduated
infantry school and completed airborne training. Keith worked beside his father and best friend as
co-owner of Periscope Pools in Leominster.
Besides his parents, Keith leaves his fiance Desiree L. Richard; his beloved
grandmothers Eleanor Hier, and Fern Testa; aunts, uncles, and cousins; predeceased by his 
sister, Tara McGuire, and grandfather, Keith W. Hier.
Funeral services for Keith will be held on Thursday, July 14, at 11:00 A.M. in the
Bosk Funeral Home 85 Blossom St. Burial with Military Honors will follow in
Forest Hill Cemetery.
