Loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother

Joanna E. Rameau, 69, life long resident of Fitchburg, died peacefully at home with her loving family at her side, Saturday February 17th. Joanna was born July 7th 1948, daughter of Robert Gosselin and Eleanor Matthews. She graduated from Fitchburg High School class of 1966. All her working years were spent in Social Services-She dedicated her whole life to people. She was recently retired and spent her time volunteering, serving on committees, and enjoying her time with family and friends. You could always find her out on lunch and shopping trips or soaking up the sun at the beach.
Joanna leaves her daughter Tracy Rameau of Fitchburg and her son James R. Rameau of Bridgewater, VT, her granddaughter Amber Kucher and partner, Paul Anderson, along with a great granddaughter Amelia Anderson. Also her sister Amy Smith of Athol, and a nephew Matthew. Joanna was predeceased by her husband Jacques Vachon in 2014.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to support the Fitchburg Holiday Decorating Committee.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation period from 11 A.M to 1 P.M. followed by a service at 1 P.M. in the Bosk Funeral Home 85 Blossom St on Friday February 23 2018.  boskfuneralhome.com
