Geraldine Mary "Gerry'' (Haase) Cheries, 90, of Lafayette LA., formerly long time resident of Leominter passed away peacefully on November 21, 2017 at camelot of Broussard Nursing Home surrounded by her loving _family. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Daniel of 35 years and her first husband Charles Tisdale. Geraldine was born in Fitchburg, MA., the daughter of Ernest A. and Isabel (Lysaght) Haase. She attended local schools, married and raised her family in Deep River, CT. She returned to Leominster for 37 years before moving to Lafayette. Geraldine retired from Foster Grants in Leominter and until age 80, lovingly cared for children in home for local families. Geraldine enjoyed taking cruises with her husband and family. She loved dancing, reading, cooking and her devoted cat Mickey. She especially loved to cook for the holidays. The festive red fruit jello and Italian cookies were all time 
favorites. Her feistiness and zest for life will be sadly missed: Geraldine is survived by her son Brian 
Tisdale (Christine) of Chester, CT.; daughters Linda Williams (Frederick) of Littleton, MA.; Brenda 
Kennard (Melvin) of Lafayette, LA. and sister Isabel A. Joslin (Rich􀁌􀁍d) of Saint Augustine, FL She leaves 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 12 nieces and nephews. She is also preceded in death by her son Wayne Tisdale (Amber) of.Cedar Creek, TX.; her brothers Ernest G. Haase, Alwin J. Haase and Lenin G. Haase and sister Marian.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation period from 10 to 11 A.M.

on Saturday December 9, in the Bosk Fubaral Home 85 Blossom St., followed

by a service at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery.
